Rob was born & raised in Bessemer, Alabama, Rob took his first job in telecom in Atlanta as a telemarketer for MCI selling long distance services. After a successful tenure at MCI he accepted a Major Accounts position with start-up Allegiance Telecom in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 Rob worked as a Major Accounts Manager at Allegiance and was later promoted to Regional Sales Manager and then was promoted again to Agent Channel Manager.

In 2001 Rob left Allegiance (who had been acquired by XO Communications) for a management position with Momentum Telecom based in Birmingham, AL. During this period of time Rob Rogers founded and began putting in place the structure for what is now Mainstream Communication Consultants.

Rob says what he enjoys most about the technology sector is building relationships. As a result he has built a long list of loyal clients in the Atlanta area and beyond who have come to depend on his expertise.

Rob has two beautiful daughters, Tempy & Skyler. He is a huge Atlanta Thrashers fan and also follows the NFL’s Oakland Raiders. Rob has lived in Atlanta, GA since 1984.
